2 reasons why Google Pixel's camera is the best – Hungry Geeks

In case you missed the event, Google has announced their latest smartphone. They ditched their Nexus name to a more catchy and cuter one, Pixel. After watching the launch of their latest smartphone, I got bored and thought that there’s really not much going on like Apple. But one thing that I realized is that their camera can be a game-changer. Here are the reasons why:

Unlimited storage

If you’re planning to buy the Pixel, you’ll get free and unlimited full-resolution storage of your photos and videos on Google’s servers. There’s no catch or anything, no need to pay for subscriptions, you’ll have the photos forever. Imagine an unlimited camera roll, that’s a treat. It’s a game-changer especially for iPhone owners that only gets free 5GB of storage via iCloud.

It’s the best (ratings-wise)

During the launch of the Google Pixel, the company boasts that the smartphone got the highest DxOMark ever given to a phone. And they are not shy at constantly reminding you that. We’re not yet sure whether those numbers are really enough to convince you that they are the best, but there’s got to be some truth in that. The 12-megapixel camera on the back is fast and other reviewers that got their hands on the Pixel said that it has been the fastest Android device to do that.

Traditionally, the iPhone’s camera has been better than any Android camera out there just because of its better imaging sensors and algorithms with their operating system. Now that Google is becoming more like Apple and they got their own operating system, iPhone is in big big trouble.

Combining those two features makes the Google Pixel more like Apple’s iPhone. It all comes down to real-life experiences with the phones.
