Microsoft Surf – Oh, Samsung Galaxy TabPro S | Hungry Geeks | Latest news
It can easily be mistaken for a Microsoft Surface, but it is not! It’s Samsung’s latest 2-in-1 gadget, the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S.
The TabPro S is a super thin tablet at 6.3mm with a 12″ incher screen. The thinness of Samsung’s newest device undercuts Apple’s iPad Pro of 6.9mm and Microsoft’s Surface Pro 4 8.4mm. The TabPro S charges via USB Type-C and has a whopping battery of 5200mAH. Powered by Intel’s Skylake Core M chips, it comes with 4GB of RAM, 128 or 257GB of storage and boats of a 12inch Super AMOLED display at 2560×1440 resolution!
Although it comes off as a Surface Pro 3/4 copy, Samsung Galaxy TabPro S looks to be a promising alternative buy for 2-in-1 fans; especially for all the Samsung fan boys. The Galaxy TabPro S will drop sometime in the first quarter of this year and will come in two colors, black and white.
On a final note, Microsoft seems to be happy that their Microsoft Surface design philosophy has finally catch on, we could look forward to more convertibles to be designed like this one, away with the heavy keyboard attachment – and in with keyboard flaps that are easier to transport.
