Everybody knows Snapchat is a curse to your monthly data allocation. Well you can finally put a stop to that: in an update being released today for iOS and Android, Snapchat introduces an important feature called Travel Mode. What it does is that it will prevent all snaps from automatically downloading, this will save you from using mobile data if you want to manually select the snaps you want to watch.
There are also a number of new features that is packed with today’s update, too. There’s the Sticker Picker – where you can add unlimited number of emoji anywhere in your snaps. There’s also an added icon on the top right camera of the screen where you pick from the traditional emoji we’re all familiar with.
And lastly – if you want to take your mobile-data conservativeness to the next level – tapping the eye icon next to the number of views on your snap will now bring up the list of viewers. Before the update, tapping anywhere will start playing your snap, and you had to take some extra steps to see who has viewed it.
