Lies of P: Overture launches Summer 2025 on PS5, PS4

Cross the boundaries of time and meet me in my enthusiasm as we transport you to the beginning of the Lies of P story. You’ll believe that the lengthy journey to share this information with you was well worth it! Lies of P: Overture’s first gameplay trailer was only released at the State of Play, and it contained some remarkable disclosures. This prologue is an enlargement of the original game’s DLC. It was a traditional debut for us, and it was particularly comforting to share the cinematic moment with fans, Soulslike veterans, and newcomers alike.
Lies of P: Overture transports you back in time to the Krat’s dark secrets, as you might have guessed from the headline. Do you remember the moment when you, as Geppetto’s most optimistic gem, woke up in the middle of the wonderful Puppet Frenzy, a murder that devastated the entire area around you? You will then travel through time to witness the terrifying trip that gave rise to that terrible moment. Through Lies of P: Overture, we aimed to completely develop, craft and finish the story as we initially envisioned it.
There’s a name in film making known as a “director’s reduce”. This variation is different from the first musical release and typically includes extra footage that the director believes will improve the piece of work. With Lies of P: Overture, I wonder if we had intended to make Lies of P into a “developers ‘ cut.”
Our generation team was filled with intriguing reports and features. We kept brainstorming until the very close. As the chairman, finding out how to incorporate these factors into Lies of P: Overture was a big issue. With this fresh retrospect, we’re making sure that the support and love for Lies of P is honored while also preserving the history we’ve always wanted to tell. Rest assured, we’ll remain giving it our most until the very end.
