US politicians denounce the mysterious hack of Apple encryption by the UK.

A bipartisan group of U.S. lawmakers is suing Apple to defend its backing from the UK government for its attempts to elude user mac data and forbid the English government to remove the veil of secrecy that surrounds the order.

Apple and the British authorities are locked in a legal dispute over mac privacy, with a secret hearing of the Investigatory Powers Tribunal scheduled for Friday to hear appeals. U.S. lawmakers are angry that the High Court’s closed-door hearing is not being made public at all.
The Investigatory Powers Tribunal’s leader is ordered to remove the” robe of privacy” associated with notices issued to American tech firms by the United Kingdom in a bipartisan notice from the U.S. Congress on Thursday.
