According to Tim Cook, Ireland is Apple’s next house.

Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, wrote to Ireland’s new prime minister to thank him and discuss the company’s future prospects in the nation.

Cork, Ireland is Apple’s German corporate headquarters.
Apple’s main center for all of its non-US sales is located in Ireland, which is the subject of a decade-long EU-to-US tax dispute. Micheal Martin became Ireland’s second-ever Taoiseach, or primary minister, on January 23, 2025, and Tim Cook congratulated him in the next year.

The Irish Times has then read the excerpts from Cook’s letter, which include the Apple CEO describing Ireland as “incredibly important” to the business.
