Apple is traveling to Vietnam along with other major technology companies to see what comes next as President Trump imposes stringent tariffs on goods from US trade partners.

The leadership seems intent on starting a new trade war with China during Trump’s next term. While he appeared to be willing to talk in January, he just added an additional 10 % tax to products from China on March 6 in addition to the initial price that became effective on February 4.
More than 60 large US companies are currently traveling to Vietnam for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations ( US-ASEAN ) mission, and tariff negotiations are likely to be at the forefront. The record, which was cited by Reuters, includes energy firms Excelerate Energy and GE Vernon as well as technology firms like Apple, Intel, Boeing, and Amazon.
