Apple may be able to avoid a significant fine after the selection screen for the iPhone browser changes.

The other browser selection on the iPhone appears to be enough, and the European Union appears to be ruling, and Apple may not face fines under the Digital Markets Act.
EU customers will have more control over definition software like Communications, Photos, and Camera as well as updating default browser options.
The research into iPhone and iPad website option, which began in March 2024, may be coming to an end soon. The research is expected to wrap up the week of March 31 in accordance with a statement by Reuters on Tuesday night, with no penalties for Apple.
In anticipation of Western regulations, Apple introduced browser decision in January 2024. But, how Apple put the change into place was found to be insufficient because it promoted Safari above other possibilities.
