Apple silently releases a new software to aid businesses in upgrading Apple Maps.

Apple has today released an software specifically designed for businesses to provide updated information, making it seem as though it is expanding its share of partner companies that provide data for Apple Maps.

Apple now has another fresh game, just like it did with the Apple Vision Pro Demo Fit game, which was released in the App Store but almost concealed by hiding it. Although it is accessible through the US App Store, this one, called Surveyor, does not appear to be intended for use by the consumer.
Surveyor is designed to capture images of road signs rather than the GPS tracking, many cameras, and LiDAR checking that Apple’s ship of Apple Maps cars employ. While Apple Maps now allows users to send specific updates, it seems more focused on providing the company with detailed information without having to have to reroute its personal vehicles.
