ASUS ROG outs Strix XG438Q in the Philippines, 43-inch UHD 120Hz panel with FreeSync 2 | News and Reviews
ASUS Republic of Gamers is launching another gaming-grade monitor this year. Meant to compliment the ROG Strix XG49V, the ASUS ROG Strix XG438Q is a massive 43-inch 120Hz display with HDR and FreeSync 2 support.
The ASUS ROG Strix XG438Q comes with a 43-inch 3840 x 2160 VA panel with DisplayHDR 600 certification and 90% DCI-P3 coverage. Aside from the massive size and resolution, the display’s panel allows it to be relatively color accurate compared to other monitors in the market.
As a gaming monitor, the ASUS ROG Strix XG438Q has a 120Hz refresh rate and 4ms response time. Of course, it does have FreeSync 2 to eliminate screen tearing while playing.
The display also comes with two 10W speakers as well as a remote control to change settings on its OSD.
