ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 and TUF Gaming A15, A17 officially announced in PH | News and Reviews
Launched alongside the ASUS VivoBook S14 M433, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14, TUF Gaming A15, and TUF Gaming A17 are one of the first gaming notebooks from ASUS to be powered by AMD Ryzen processors based on their Zen 2 architecture.
ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14
First officially announced in CES 2020 back in January, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 will now be coming into the Philippine market. As part of the Zephyrus range, the ROG Zephyrus G14 has a thin profile while having powerful components inside.
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 will come in several configurations with differing CPUs and GPUs. Depending on the variant, you can have an AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS or an AMD Ryzen 4800HS. As for graphics, you have a choice of an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, a GTX 1660 Ti, or a GTX 1650 Ti.
As a gaming notebook, fast refresh rates is a requirement for the notebook. This is why the device comes with a 14.0-inch IPS-level display with narrow bezels with a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, the screen also has 100% sRGB coverage, Adaptive Sync, and has been Pantone Validated.
Two models will be initially be available for the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14. Both will come with an AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS processor with the difference being their GPU. The GA401IU-HE137T will come with an NVIDIA GeForce 1660 Ti for PhP 99,995. On the other hand, the GA401IFV-HE247T has a more powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 for PhP 109,995. Both will come with an ROG 14.0-inch Sleeve, an ROG Strix Impact Mouse, and the ROG Eye external web camera.

ASUS TUF Gaming A15 and TUF Gaming A17
If you want something from the ASUS TUF Gaming range with a Zen 2 AMD Ryzen processor, the ASUS TUF Gaming A15 and TUF Gaming A17 has that covered for you. Like their names suggest, the TUF Gaming A15 will come with a 15.0-inch IPS 1920 x 1080 144Hz display while the TUF Gaming A17 has a larger 17.0-inch IPS 1920 x 1080 screen.
Aside from the difference in screen size, both models are largely the same. The two notebooks come with AMD Ryzen processors from the mid-range AMD Ryzen 5 4600H to the higher-end AMD Ryzen 9 4900H. As for their GPUS, you have an option for an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti and GTX 1660 Ti for both, while the TUF Gaming A15 has a choice to be outfitted with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060.
Both the ASUS TUF Gaming A15 and TUF Gaming A17 are expected to make their appearance in the market on June 2020. Getting either models will net you a TUF Gaming Backpack while choosing the A15’s more powerful RTX 2060 version will net you an extra TUF M5 Gaming Mouse.
