The curtains are down with Battlefield V’s explosive reveal trailer. After days of speculation and mounting evidence, the franchise will go back to where it all started: World War II. As always, things look very sharp thanks to DICE’s Frostbite Engine. The game is scheduled to release on October 19 for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

The trailer might be a little too energetic than what we’re used to, and it seems unfair to judge the game from a two-minute video. Given the track record of DICE with the previous installments, we can definitely expect something spectacular.

Guess we’ll just wait for more details about the game. If you can’t wait, you can check out known Battlefield Youtuber, JackFrags’ Tweet about BFV’s new mechanics that didn’t make it into the trailer. He expounds on the game being more ‘hardcore’ than the previous ones, coming with new features that have yet to be seen.
