Asus reveals Zenfone 3: first Snapdragon 821 smartphone – Hungry Geeks
After Qualcomm’s announcement of their latest mobile processor which is the Snapdragon 821 — 10 percent faster than the previous Snapdragon 820, ASUS has revealed their next smartphone that will be equipped with the latest high-end specifications — the ZenFone 3 Deluxe.
The ZenFone 3 Deluxe is the first smartphone that will have the Snapdrago 821 as the latest smartphones like Samsung’s Galaxy S7, Xiaomi’s Mi 5 and HTC 10 are currently equipped with the 820. The new chip is a bit faster than its predecessor with a clock speed of 2.4 GHz for the quad-core CPU.
As for other specifications, it has a 5.7-inch all metal unibody chassis with a screen resolution of 1080p that is protected by Gorilla Glass 4. It has a 23-megapixel camera on the back that sports OIS and other enhancements that will make sure that your focus time is just 0.03 seconds. It has a fingerprint reader, a large 3,000mAh battery that also has Quick charging features.
The ZenFone 3 Deluxe will be available in Taiwan and Hong Kong in August and we’ll have to wait for the official announcement here in The Philippines.
