Hugo Barra joins Facebook as lead for VR – Hungry Geeks
Just less than two days from Hugo Barra’s announcement of leaving Xiaomi due to health reasons, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg posted in facebook a photo of him and Hugo in virtual reality.
While VR is more of a luxury right now, Mark believes that Hugo’s vast experience in software and hardware can propel Facebook’s investment towards VR.
With Hugo’s connections in both software and hardware industries, we think its just a matter of time now until we see facebook rolling out new VR related products and services.
