First official details about the OPPO F5 are here, launches on October 26 | Hungry Geeks | Latest news

After several teasers through advertisements and even artists on social media, OPPO has finally broken their silence and sent out the initial details of their upcoming OPPO F5.

The OPPO F5 will be the first full-screen (read bezelless) smartphone in their current range. The display will also be supporting an 18:9 aspect ratio with a resolution of 2160 x 1080. This will allow the F5 to better support Split Screen mode so you can comfortably run two apps side-by-side.

The tagline “Capture the real you” has been seen on their advertisements. The OPPO F5 will come with an A.I. Beauty Recognition technology for better selfies.  OPPO uses a sophisticated AI to recognize your skin tone and type, as well as the gender and age of all the subjects within your frame, analyze environment lighting conditions by referring to other facial images from a global data base to beautify a selfie shot.

Furthermore, this will scan more than 200 facial recognition spots, which also learns your unique facial features as you take more selfies to adjust for the best enhancements for each shot regardless of the angle or facial expression.
