With a new Focus Mode that allows you to aim and position your attacks and create devastating Focus Strikes to kill monsters, the Monster Hunter series ‘ most refined action to date. It’s all set in a truly seamless world across numerous locations, which are bigger than any in the history of the series, and where loading screens are kept to a minimum.
Hop on your dependable Seikret mount to traverse the world. Your hunts in the Forbidden Lands will depend on it, and it can do so with ease. It can also help you avoid monster attacks, store useful items, and even have a second weapon to use.

If you’ve played the recent Open Beta Test, thanks for joining the hunt! The team has been diligently implementing adjustments and improvements in response to your suggestions for the final game. There are significant changes to weapons, including returning the Insect Glaive’s Vaulting Dance, and many other things, including improved performance in Monster Hunter Wilds ‘ full version.
In terms of performance, PS5 players can choose from three graphical modes in the full game: Prioritize Resolution at 30 FPS, Balanced mode at 40 FPS, which is ideal for those with displays that can output 120 Hz, and Prioritize Framerate mode, which offers smooth gameplay at 60 FPS.
We’re happy to announce that Monster Hunter Wilds will be PS5 Pro enhanced, making use of the system’s advanced Ray Tracing capabilities and PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution ( PSSR ) for improved visuals and performance, if you want to dive even deeper into the game. Prioritize Framerate delivers smooth gameplay at 60 FPS, while Prioritize Resolution and Balanced mode display images with raytracing at 30 FPS and 40 FPS, respectively. Choose the one that best suits your needs from all three PSSR modes, which benefit from improved image quality!
