Second time’s the attraction? EU considers fining Apple over DMA but suddenly
When suddenly, Apple may be facing charges from the European Union for breaking Digital Markets Act laws, but the charges will probably be “modest” and far from the max charges.

Almost since the introduction of the Digital Markets Act, issues have been raised that Apple and its App Store may experience being fined under the rules, following several probes into its activities. Today, it seems Apple perhaps face its first real charges under the rules.
Apple and Meta are expected to get hit by sanctions for breaking DMA principles, a supply of Reuters says. The exact length of the sanctions have not been determined however, but they are expected to remain “modest” in length.
