The new head of Siri, Mike Rockwell, is reportedly outsourcing a large portion of the development job to his former Apple Vision Pro group. Kim Vorrath, the first “fixer” for Apple, joined the Siri team in 2013, and previous head John Giannandrea was instantly replaced by Rockwell, Apple Vision Pro’s CEO. According to Bloomberg, Rockwell has since reorganized the Siri group to accommodate employees from his Vision Pro positions. &# 13, Ranjit Desai has been given the reins of the underlying Siri system group. &# 13 Olivier Gutknecht, who previously served as a senior executive on the development of the Apple Vision Pro, is apparently taking over the user experience staff. Former Tesla executive Stuart Bowers, formerly known as &# 13, is transferring from the Apple Vision Pro information, training, and assessment teams to the Siri person responses. David Winarsky, who has worked with Siri for a while, will take over as the group focusing on talk. Nevertheless, it appears that the existing Siri staff is being pushed out or at least marginalized in favor of those who worked on the more popular Apple Vision Pro. However, Mike Rockwell has not completely abandoned the helmet because he continues to be in charge of the visionOS staff.
