In case you don’t know, the Apple Pencil already had a weird way of charging – you take off the cap and you’re greeted with a male Lightning connector which you’ll have to plugin in to your iPad Pro.
But Apple released a new way of charging. Report suggests that they will package an adapter with the Apple Pencil that will allow users to connect it to a Lightning cable. Here’s how it works:
The upside of this is you’ll have another way of charging your Pencil instead of plugging it in your iPad Pro. The downside? That’s one too many ways.
The first method was always bashed and was obviously weird. Apple should’ve made it a female plug and it would’ve been perfect and charging it with a Lightning cable is really straight-forward. But hey, at least we won’t have to charge it in our iPad.
