Seen in several SM malls lately is Cherry Mobile and Intel’s teaser of “A New Generation of Power is Coming”. An acronym MAIA is also displayed with a silhouette of a phone. While there is no sign of any clue, we think this is related to Intel’s upcoming processor SoFIA for smartphones and tablet.
Intel SoFIA aims to battle the value segment market with affordable Smarthpones and tablet with competitive specifications. If this is true, then we think Cherry Mobile is definitely the partner for this initiative. The reason we think its SoFIA cause it rhymes with the MAIA teaser of Cherry Mobile.
We may be wrong but at least we tried guessing, perhaps we will be hearing soon from Cherry in what is this teaser. Hopefully we don’t have to wait that long to find out. How about you? What do you think is the teaser is for? Show us in the comments below.
