Dell has announced that they will be updating their G series of notebooks to the latest Intel CPUs and NVIDIA GPUs. They will also be bringing their first gaming desktop tower, the Dell G5. As a surprise to gamers, the Alienware m15 will be making its debut in the Philippine market.

Dell G3 15 (3590)

The Dell G3 15 (3590) was made to bring a balanced offering of power and performance at a competitive price point. The notebook comes with Dell’s Game Shift feature that enables maximum fan speed for optimal processor performance in just a click of a button.

The device also comes with an S-curve thin-and-sleek design and narrow borders to accommodate larger component ports near the back. The G3 15 (3590) is powered by a 51Whr battery at just 21.6mm thickness and will be available in Eclipse Black.

Dell G5 15 and G5 15 SE (5590)

Perhaps considered the middle ground between performance and price, the Dell G5 15 series comes with a 15.6-inch IPS display with narrow bezels to allow gamers to become fully immersed in games.

The Dell G5 15 series will come with an HDMI 2.0 port, USB 3.1 Gen2 ports that support DisplayPort, Power Delivery, and Thunderbolt 3. The whole package is powered by a 60Whr battery to allow for a bit of gaming while on-the-go.

The Dell G5 15 is only 23.7mm deep with a metal palm rest for support a durability. The notebook will be available in Deep Space Black with Blue accents as well as a special edition Alpine White.

Dell G7 15 (7590)

The most powerful of Dell’s G series, the Dell G7 15 (7590) comes with a 15.6-inch IPS display running at either 144Hz or 240Hz depending on the configuration. GPU performance is provided by either an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB or an RTX 2070 8GB.

An Intel Core i7-9750H processor is thrown in order for the notebook to get as much frames-per-second as possible. 16GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 2666MHz and a 512GB NVMe SSD + 1TB HDD have been also been thrown in the mix to deliver a well-rounded gaming experience as possible.

Powered by Intel and NVIDIA

All the updated Dell G series gaming notebooks are powered by an Intel 9th generation Intel Core mobile processors and the latest RTX 20- and GTX 16-series GPUs from NVIDIA.

The Dell G series gaming notebooks can also be decked by an NVMe SSD, a Gigabit Ethernet Controller, and Nahimic 3D Audio. Of course, a four-zone RGB keyboard will come by default on all current Dell G Series notebooks.

Dell G5 Desktop

One of the first gaming-oriented desktops from Dell, the Dell G5 Desktop is powered by a 9th generation Intel Core i7 processor. Depending on the setup, the device can have either an NVIDIA GeForce GTX or an RTX GPU.

The desktop was designed to deliver better graphics and higher-framerates at 1440p. Dell will also be focusing with VR-compatibility to fully immerse players in their games.

The Dell G5 Desktop has a tool-less entry as well as additional storage slots inside. Cooling is improved with four thermal mode options that can be changed via the Alienware Command center.

Alienware m15

Dell finally brings their premium gaming series, Alienware, in the Philippines. Leading the pack is the Alienware m15. Designed to be the top-notch gaming notebook from the brand, the m15 comes with up to a 240Hz display panel with Tobii Eyetracking.

Inside its rather sleek chassis is up to a 9th generation Intel Core i9-9980HK processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q 8GB. RAM can be customized up to 16GB DDR4 2666MHz while storage can reach up to a 2TB RAID 0 NVMe M.2 SSDs.

Unlike the G series, the Alienware m15 comes with per-key lighting that can be controlled via the Alienware Command Center. The brand also says that they are using more and better VRMs compared to the competition to allow the device higher GPU and CPU performance for longer.

All Dell G series notebooks are now available in all Dell authorized retailers. The Dell G5 will be available at the end of November 2019 while the Alienware m15 on early December 2019.
