After years of ridiculous pressure over how Messages now has natural bubbles for Android users and blue bubbles for iOS users, and perhaps a Chinese nudge, Apple has finally added RCS messaging support for iOS 18 after years of crazy pressure. However, its execution did not match Google’s use of end-to-end crypto.
The RCS standards body GSM Assocation ( GSMA ) and Apple have announced new end-to-end encryption support for iOS, as first reported by 9to5mac.
