Are a 90’s kid who loves the old Final Fantasy games? We have good news for you: Square Enix has just released their revamped Final Fantasy VII in the iOS App Store.

It was announced back in E3, Square Enix told every one that one of their most popular game titles of all time would be coming to the iOS devices this summer. It may not be the full remake that we have expected, but we are definitely sure it will make a large number of fans happy while they are waiting for the game to be officially released.

There’s little information on new features – it appears to be the same as the PC adaptation released on Steam back in 2013. If you haven’t played that version of the game, it includes a few extras over the original, it includes achievements, cloud saves (for multiple devices), and a slight revamp on the graphics. There’s also an option to boost your character’s stats if you are stick in a difficult part of the game (of course, if you’re a hardcore gamer, you wouldn’t have the guts to do that).

It is now available in the Philippines’ App Store for 15 USD. Why not check it out? I’m sure it’s worth the money.
