The notch might be a decisive topic in the smartphone community but it’s a design choice that manufacturers will stick with for a, we presume, a long time. To bring the notch to the budget arena, Vivo has released their most low-cost smartphone with a notch, the Vivo Y81.
The Vivo Y81 shares the same design philosophy as recent releases such as the X21 and V9. The screen is a 6.22-inch 19:9 notched screen with a total resolution of 1520 x 720. Inside is a MediaTek Helio P22 supplying the horsepower with 3GB of RAM as well as 32GB of internal storage.
Photos are taken with a 13MP f/2.2 rear camera with PDAF and LED flash and a 5MP f/2.2 selfie camera bolstered with Vivo’s AI Beautification.
