We released Horizon Zero Dawn into the wilderness more than seven years ago. People got to meet Aloy, our leading warrior, thrust into a journey of ( self-) finding in a strange, far-future world ravaged by dangerous machines. It was also the start of a growing community of actresses, digital photography, fan artists, and content creators who inspire us to this day with their extraordinary creations. Some fans, as well as everyone at Guerrilla, hold Horizon Zero Dawn close and dear to them.
And that society has never stopped growing. Several million more people pick up Horizon Zero Dawn for the first time each month. But 7 times is a long time in the world of machine pictures, technology improves. As the years progressed, we really wished Aloy’s newcomers could create a type that was appropriate for their PS5 or Computer. So we’re delighted to report that our brilliant Nixxes friends have remastered the game.
On October 31st, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered will be available. The intriguing story and awe-inspiring post-apocalyptic world results alongside a host of modern improvements, physical enhancements, and upgraded features. It also includes The Frozen Wilds information, a large development featuring more land, skills, weapons, and machines. Look at the following statement video.
Over 10 hrs of re-recorded chat, mocap, and numerous other interactive improvements give the game the same level of visual quality as its critically acclaimed movie Horizon Forbidden West. The show’s beautiful earth includes frozen mountains, thick jungles, and parched deserts with gorgeous new visuals and 4K1 graphics and travelling between settlements is now lightning-fast.
Many of the main characters in the narrative have been upgraded, keeping them in line with modern developments in character designs and processing. We hope that improved graphics, light, materials and more will create new and existing viewers excited to dive into the activity!
Horizon Zero Dawn Enhanced considerably improved the sound quality. We’ve totally revamped the good mixture, then supporting PS5 Tempest 3D Audio Tech2 for higher-order ambisonics and Atmos making for an interactive music. Our sound design has also seen major improvements, with hundreds of improvements both in-game and in the cinematics.
Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered takes full advantage of the PS5 console’s power and features. The DualSense controller’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers ensure incredible immersion during tense combat, stealthy exploration, or scaling a gigantic Tallneck. Throughout the game, we’ve integrated custom haptics for the DualSense controller, which give players tactile feedback that increases immersion. Additionally, we’ve introduced a new optional accessibility feature that utilizes sound and haptic feedback to notify players of interactable elements, such as pickups, that were previously only indicated visually.
Additionally, we’re delighted to announce that Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered includes native PlayStation 5 Pro support. This includes a number of improved graphical features that make use of the PS5 Pro’s power while also providing ultra-high fidelity at blisteringly fast framerates.
The PlayStation overlay on Windows 3 is available with Trophy support, and the PC version 3 has its own set of features, including support for ultra-wide resolutions and the most recent performance-enhancing technologies like NVIDIA DLSS 3 and AMD FSR 3. 1 with frame generation4. In a later blog, we will let our Nixxes partners expand even more.
Remappable controls, haptic cues, and various assist toggles are all part of the accessibility features that were first included in Horizon Forbidden West, and many of them have been added to this Remastered version to enable all players to fully enjoy the game.
This is a fantastic opportunity to dive into New Game + or return to Photo Mode with all of your previously unlocked outfits and customizations, for those who have already played it because we’ve made sure your old save games will work.
Both physical and digital versions of Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered will be available on October 3rd, and we’re excited to let you know that both physical and digital versions will be available.
For those who have previously owned Horizon Zero Dawn ( PS4, PC ) or Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition ( PS4, PS5, PC ), you can upgrade to the digital version of Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered for$ 9.99 on both the PlayStation 5 console and PC (via Steam or Epic Game Store ). This includes fans who added the game to their libraries during PlayStation’s Play At Home initiative. 5
Owners of the Horizon Zero Dawn PS4 game disc can access this promotion by putting the disc into their PS5 console ( and will need to keep the disc inserted each time the game is played ). PS4 game owners who purchase the disc-free PS5 Digital Edition console will not be able to use the upgrade offer.
For new fans, the game can be purchased for$ 49.996 on PlayStation Store, Steam, or Epic Game Store. The Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition will be delivered to you.
