Huawei MateBook 13 and D 14 officially arrives in PH | News and Reviews

Huawei has released two new notebooks in the Philippine market: the MateBook 13 and D 14. Both notebooks are committed to delivering better computing experience to its users as well as adding more features such as multi-screen collaboration and Huawei Share.

Huawei MateBook D 14

The more budget-oriented of the two notebooks, the Huawei MateBook D 14 is the follow up of the MateBook D 15 from earlier this year. As the name suggests, the MateBook D 14 is a bit smaller with a 14.0-inch IPS 1920 x 1080 display that’s advertised to produce up to 250nits of brightness.

The notebook will come in two variants: an AMD Ryzen 5 3500U model and an AMD Ryzen 7 3700U version. Regardless of the variants, the notebook will still come with 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB of PCIe SSD. Cooling the components inside is the Huawei Shark Fin Fan 2.0, which they claim to optimize airflow dynamically for improved cooling and laptop performance.

The Huawei MateBook D 14 is able to last up to 9.5 hours thanks to its 56Whr battery. Charging is done via a 65W USB Type-C charging port, which means that you can charge the device through a compatible powerbank if you’re away from a charging station.
