The Huawei Y9s has already received a price drop last March. This time, however, the brand is dropping another PhP 1,000 off bringing its price down to just PhP 11,999. That’s a total of PhP 2,000 off from its original list price of PhP 14,990.
The Huawei Y9s comes with a 6.59-inch LTPS 2340 x 1080 display without any punch-hole or notch. The uninterrupted screen was made possible due to the front-facing 16MP f/2.2 camera being placed on a motorized platform that pops up from the chassis once selfie mode is activated from the camera.
The device keeps it rather simple at the back only employing three cameras: a 48Mp f/1.8 main, an 8MP f/2.4 ultrawide, and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. Inside its chassis is a Kirin 710F chip with 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 512GB via its MicroSD slot.
The Y9s does come with an older Android 9.0 Pie OS with EMUI 9.1 by default. Unlike some of the brand’s more recent entries, the device does come with Google Play support. The smartphone has a 4,000mAh battery and integrates its fingerprint scanner to the power button.
