Jollibee now officially announced that the iconic Champ Burger will be phased out in all branches of the restaurant. Included in the affected menu is the Big Burger Steak meal as the patty is the same for the Champ.
But the restaurant giant assures that their burger lineup this 2020 will be more exciting, perhaps they are revitalizing the category with more choices and the Champ will be a hindrance in price if they maintain it on the menu.
Still, as per Jollibee, you can still enjoy a champ-like experience with their Double Patty Yumburgers. They even emphasized that great value for money of the alternatives, which might mean that its the company’s way to also cost-optimized their menu.
Lastly, if the demand is big for the Champ to come back Jollibee said they will re-consider the same as with the old classics that were launched before.
