Although, Will Smith will not reprising his role as the hero that saved all of humankind. Jessie Usher (Survivor’s Remorse) will be playing as his son. Roland Emmerich who made the first Independence Day, Godzilla, 10,000 B.C., White House Down, 2012, and other epic movies will be back for this one as well as another Independence Day movie in the future. Together with the two will be the god of Thunder himself, Liam Hemsworth, and Jeff Goldblum who was with Will Smith and Roland Emmerich on the first movie.

The first movie was great, and with Roland Emmerich being part of the sequel; we need be confident that this will be another epic movie. Independence Day 2 is slated to be released next year.
