Instagram implemented their stories version to combat Snapchat last year, looks like the company is successful with now more than 200 million daily users worldwide, this is as compared to Snapchat’s 168 million daily users.
Along with this victory, Instagram introduced today their latest update with your own portrait able to be a sticker. Plus, they now have geostickers as well which was originally from Snapchat. This gives more engaging content to users especially to the 600M everday users of instagram

Now if Facebook can fix their side with better stories and possibly an integration of facebook and Instagram? That would be nice and more orderly, but we think that will be a long way as the two platforms still serve a different experience.
