According to popular sources, the incoming iPhone dubbed as the iPhone SE will be a smaller iPhone 6S — that also includes those latest specifications from it. The overall dimensions are rumored to be the same as the iPhone 5S, but the curved edges won’t be shiny at all.
The cover glass is rumored to be rounded at the edges similar to the iPhone 6S. The buttons’ location are the same as the iPhone 5S but the rear will have a glass on the top and bottom.
Inside the SE will be surprising. It is rumored to have the A9 chip and M9 coprocessor, an NFC chip (Apple Pay) and an updated cellular and Wi-Fi hardware. It will also have the 12-megapixel camera that can shoot 4K video that is found on the latest iPhone 6S.
It’s very surprising that the above-mentioned specs are on-par with the iPhone 6S considering that usually, the smaller ones are much weaker in terms of the specification sheet.
