Lenovo Legion Phone Duel gaming smartphone teased to launch in PH | News and Reviews

Lenovo has teased on their official Facebook page that they will be launching their gaming smartphone, the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel , in the Philippines. This means that Filipinos will potentially get another option when it comes to dedicated flagship gaming smartphones.

The Lenovo Legion Phone Duel is drowning in a sea of impressive specifications such as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+, up to 16GB of RAM, up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and a 6.65-inch 2340 x 1080 AMOLED display running at 144Hz.

Aside from sheer processing power, the smartphone also come with a few quality of life improvements especially for gaming. They device has Ultrasonic Triggers which you can bind to certain actions for a more tactile experience. Lenovo is throwing in a 5,000mAh battery with 90W Fast Charging that should allow for long-term gaming with short bursts of charging in-between sessions.

In terms of camera hardware, the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel has dual-cameras at the back: a 64MP f/1.9 main camera and a 16MP f/2.2 ultrawide. Its front-facing camera is a 16MP f/2.0 pop up unit but it doesn’t come out its tops. Instead, the selfie camera pops out the side of the device. While not the most ergonomic placement when being used normally, the camera can now act as a built-in webcam when playing in landscape mode since it isn’t blocked by your hands.

Lenovo has only teased the arrival of their first gaming smartphone in the Philippines. Availability and pricing are yet to be unveiled once the smartphone officially launches locally.
