Following up on their success of the G6, LG has unveiled the beefier G6 Plus. Compared to the G6, the G6 Plus will sport 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage instead of 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

Aside from the amped RAM and storage, the G6 Plus will now come in colors of Optical Marine Blue and Optical Terra Gold.
In addition, LG will be rolling out new updates for both the G6 and G6 Plus next month:
- Users will now be able to unlock phones with Face Print, which is LG’s version of facial recognition much like in the Samsung Galaxy S8.
- Battery life will be improved via Low Power Consumption becoming an always on mode.
- Covered Lens will now warn users when their fingers are detected in the frame while in the phone’s wide-angle mode.
Based on the reports, the LG G6 Plus will be sold first on South Korea with other countries following soon. Unfortunately, there’s no local price yet here in the Philippines. We’ll keep you updated once we receive more information.
