LG Outs G4, Challenges Samsung S6 – Hungry Geeks

Korea-based company LG has launched their newest flagship smartphone today – the LG G4, which comes from last year’s G4 with new and improved specifications.

Announced simultaneously at events around the world, the device comes with a Quad-HD 5.5-inch (with 1,440 x 2,560 pixel resolution) display and Snapdragon 808 processor. The display, as LG stated, is 20 percent more accurate at displaying colors than any smartphone that walks this earth (that’s for you, Samsung S6), and it delivers better brightness and contrast than previous generations or other manufacturer’s handsets.

The camera also has a f1.8 aperture 16-megapixel camera rivaling the Samsung S6, this will result in lighter, better quality shits. The camera also comes with a 3-axis Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for those camera-lovers with shaky hands. They also added a color spectrum sensor on the rear, this will help the camera sensor to adjust for ambient light more accurately, resulting in a better balanced photos.

For the battery, the LG G4 comes with a removable 3,000mAh battery that should keep the phone going for at least the whole day. There is also a 32GB micro SD card slot included to allow you expand your storage.

People who buy the G4 also get an additional 100GB of Google Drive storage free for two years.

Pricing hasn’t yet been announced, but the device should be available widely in June.
