LG Q6 series announced, comes with 5.5-inch FullVision 18:9 displays | Hungry Geeks | Latest news

It’s been a couple of weeks since the LG Q6 was rumored to be undergoing FCC certifications. It seems that LG Q6 will not be a standalone phone, but a series instead. Like the LG G6, the LG Q6 series will have 18:9 FullVision displays with an aspect ratio of 18:9.

The LG Q6 has three SKUs: the LG Q6, the LG QQ+, and the LG Qa. As we’ve mentioned, the primary feature of these phones are the displays. All the smartphones are equipped with a 5.5-inch 18:9 FullHD+ display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080. Much like their bigger brother, the LG Q6 series will have curved edges and metallic frames made with 7000 series aluminum. Unfortunately, these smarphones won’t come with a fingerprint sensor, which is a bit disappointing since it is a feature that’s becoming more standard nowadays. Instead, it’ll come with LG’s Face Recognition as its bio-metric lock.

Here are the full specs of the entire LG Q6 lineup:

We’ll keep you updated with the LG Q6 lineup once we get more information.
