One of the most awaited games for a couple of years now is Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain. Unfortunately, Filipino gamers will still be unable to purchase a hard copy of the Hideo Kojima’s, probably his last game. Video game retailers is saying that the delay is due to “unforseen circumstances”.
Rumors are surfacing that the root of the delay is due to Bureau of Customs putting up a hold order for hard copy video games which includes MGS V, One Piece Pirate Warriors 3, and Mad Max.
Digital copies are ready and download for 2,800Php on Steam. While pre-orders from Data Blitz is estimated at 2,400Php to 2,600Php for PS4 nd Xbox One, 2,200Php for PS3, and 5,000Php to 6,000Php for the collector’s edition under the PS4. If you really don’t care to get a physical copy of the game; you might want to turn to purchasing the game online. It might take you a while to play as MGSV: The Phantom Pain is reportedly 20GB large.
Update: Some of our friends confirmed from DataBlitz staff that it the delay was not due to customs. Although, no confirmation of what was the cause.
Update: Another friend called up DataBlitz, and their staff were saying that MGSV: The Phantom Pain will be released within the week.
