Of course, if you don’t feel that the base model of the Moto Z2 Play is up to your standards, you can also expand its capabilities with Moto Mods.

The Moto Gamepad Mod.

Much like its predecessor, installing Moto Mods in the Z2 Play is easy as lining up the connections near the bottom of the smartphone to the mod, and snapping the two together. These mods include the Incipio Power Pack, Moto Insta-Share projector, and JBL Soundboost. Even more mods will be coming in the near future to lengthen the lifespan of Moto Mods-based smartphones.

What we noticed about the Moto Z2 Play compared to the Moto Z, is that it does have a more prominent camera bump than the latter. Hopefully, the camera performance is better with the Z2 Play. We’ll let you know more when we get a unit for review.

The Moto Z2 Play will be exclusively available in Motorola outlets in Cyberzone in SM MoA, SM Megamall, and SM North Edsa on July 21 for PhP 24,990. You can also get the Moto Z2 Play in Lazada. To sweeten the deal, if you purchase the Moto Z2 Play from July 21 to August 31, it will come with several freebies such as a Moto Style Shell Mod, protective metal bumper, a selfie stick, and liquid nano-screen protector.
