It seems that Moto isn’t done with 2017 yet. After the release of the Z2 Play and the E4 Plus, they are now expanding their current arsenal of smartphones with the G series. Composed of two smartphones, the G5s and the G5s Plus, their new series are set to take on the mid-range smartphone market.
Moto G5s
The Moto G5s is built with an all-metal unibody design that was made from a single piece of aluminium. Inside is a 300mAh battery supplemented by Moto’s TurboPower charging that lets you allow to charge the battery for just 15 minutes and get 5 hours of battery life.
As for imaging, the Moto G5s has a 16MP, f/2.0 rear camera with phase detection while at the front is a 5MP, f/2.0 wide-angle camera with LED flash to let you easily take group selfies.
The screen is a 5.2-inch IPS at FullHD with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Performance is handled by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz and is complemented by 4GB of RAM. Here are the full specs of the Moto G5s:

Moto G5s Plus
The Moto G5s Plus is the company’s mid-range, dual-camera offering. At the rear are dual 13MP rear cameras supplemented by Moto’s special photo enhancement software. The dual camera setup allows the Moto G5s Plus to enter “selective focus mode” to easily add bokeh to your photos.
The screen is an upgraded version of the G5s’. It still has a 1080p resolution but it now has a larger 5.5-inch screen. The all-metal unibody design from the G5s has been carried over to the G5s Plus.
Powering the G5s Plus is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor complemented by 4GB of RAM. The smartphone’s juice 3000mAh that’s also supplemented with Moto’s TurboPower tech for faster charging. Here’s its complete specs:

The Moto G5s is priced at PhP 10,999 while the Moto G5s Plus is priced at PhP 14,999. Both smartphones are now available through retail stores today.
