of 18:9 smartphones with the A83. The A83 carries over the design philosophy found on its contemporaries; the OPPO F5 and F5 Youth. Thus, it will have an 18:9 display, a sleek design, and 4GB of RAM all for just USD 216.
The 18:9 display of the A83 will have a resolution of 1440 x 720 while inside is a 2.5GHz processor accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. The cameras are a 13MP shooter at the rear while the front houses an 8MP selfie shooter. OPPO will also carry over the Facial Recognition technique they’ve used with the recent 18:9 OPPO smartphones. All of these will run on Android 7.1 Nougat with OPPO’s ColorOS.
The OPPO A83 will be available today, December 29, 2017, in China for CNY 1399 or around USD 215. No word yet if the A83 will arrive on our shores.
