OPPO is adding another midrange device to their ranks in the form of the Reno4. Priced at PhP 18,990, the OPPO Reno4 employs quad cameras at the back, a 32MP selfie camera, and AI-ehanced Smart Sensors for privacy.
The OPPO Reno4 comes with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display at 2400 x 1080 with a Sony IMX616-powered 32MP f/2.4 selfie camera on its pill-style hole at the top left. The smartphone uses AI-enhanced Smart Sensors in order to detect other people who might be taking a peek at the smartphone. Upon detection, a notification will pop up and drop-down notification drawers and banner notifications will be hidden.
These sensors also support Smart AirControl which allows users of the OPPO Reno4 to pick up calls or browse through social media apps like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TitTok by just waving their hand.
At the back of the handset are four cameras: a 48MP f/1.7 Sony IMX586 primary camera, an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide, a 2MP f/2.4 macro lens, and a 2MP f/2.4 mono sensor. Its cameras support 960fps Smart Slow Motion and Ultra Steady Video 3.0 to stabilize moving shots. Night Flare Portrait, Ultra Dark Mode, and Ultra Night Selfie Mode also come into action if you want to capture better shots in dark environments.
The device has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chip inside with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is powered by a 4,015mAh battery that supports 30W VOOC 4.0 Fast Charging via its USB Type-C port at the bottom. Its OS is the brand’s latest ColorOS 7.2 on top of the Android 10 platform.

As mentioned, the OPPO Reno4 will retail for PhP 18,990 and will be available in Space Black and Galactic Blue variants. Pre-orders will start on August 15 and will end on August 21, 2020. Those who can score the Reno4 within this period will get a Rock Space EB100 TWS Earbuds worth PhP 2,899 for free.
The Reno4 will be available via Globe postpaid plans with ThePlan 1499 with a free Rock Space EB100 Stereo Earbuds starting August 22, 2020. The device will also be offered at 0% interest for up to 12 months via their official credit card bank partners Metrobank, PNB, and Citibank. Home Credit will also carry the device at 0% interest installment with a 20% down payment requirement for any of the 9, 12, 15, and 18-month installment plans.
