We aren’t really the followers of Next Top Model franchise shows, but we are familiar with the mechanics that a bunch of model aspirants will be in a house with no communication and will face challenges and lessons to seek for the next top model.
Interestingly with OPPO sponsoring the show, the mechanics will change as phones will now be allowed inside and during the whole competition. This is to show their online lifestyle for followers to better understand and see their selfies.
OPPO started in America’s Next Top Model and this is an addition to their efforts to expand in the Philippines. Interestingly, this is the 1st time a smartphone brand has gone very lifestyle in recent years.
Other brands can’t do this as their products are too technical, OPPO is in the perfect position to promote their brand in a lifestyle-centric method where ultimately they are the only ones doing it right now in the smartphone industry.
Former Binibining Pilipinas-World Maggie Wilson will head the panel of judges that will choose the winner among 24 contestants. The top 3 winners will become OPPO’s digital ambassadors along with other opportunities.
According to an insider report, the shooting for the whole competition is almost over and broadcast starts soon at TV5.
