Play Super Mario 64 On Your Browser – Hungry Geeks

If you don’t know Super Mario 64, either you’re too young or you didn’t have an awesome childhood. It is arguably one of the best platformer ever since video games had 3D capabilities.

Majority of us lost our Nintendo 64 so we don’t have one lying around. Wouldn’t it be great if we were able to play it right on our browser? It would be a nostalgia-trip of our childhood days!

Developer Roystan Ross has gone and done just that! Recreating the Bob-Omb Battlefield, the very first level of the game, with pinpoint accuracy and enhanced visual experience.

You can play the level in your browser through Unity plug-in, and it runs smoothly on any devices including tablet PCs. Although there are some things missing, like some of Mario’s attacks and Red Coins, and the fact that you can only play one level, you wouldn’t miss it for the world.

You can even take the game with you and download it right now. It’s available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Check out the official page here.

What are you waiting for? Embark on that throwback trip right now!
