PS5 value to increase in Australia, New Zealand, and Europe
SIE has made the difficult decision to raise the recommended retail price ( RRP ) of the PlayStation 5 console in some markets in Europe, Middle East and Africa ( EMEA ), Australia and New Zealand in the wake of a challenging economic environment, which includes high inflation and fluctuating exchange rates.
Starting April 14, the updated PS5 RRPs will go into effect as follows: EuropePS5 Digital Edition €499.99
UKPS5 Digital Edition – £429.99 ( No price changes for the standard PS5 ) with Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive ).
( No price adjustments apply to the common PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-ray wheel drive ) AustraliaStandard PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-ray disk drive – AUD$ 829.
PS5 Digital Edition AUD$ 744.95 New Zealand Standard PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-ray disk drive NZD$ 944.95
