Remedy Entertainment releases Altered Bolsters for FBC: Firebreak.

Hello everyone, I’m Julius Fondem, Remedy Entertainment’s Community Manager. I’m super excited to talk to you today about a brand-new have in our future game FBC: Firebreak – Altered Augments. FBC: Firebreak is a collaborative first-person gunman for three players set in the eminently recognizable Control world and set within a enigmatic federal agency that is under attack by extradimensional forces. With up to two buddies, battle through hordes of unearthly monsters, modify your weapons, and increase your level of defense as you face off against this ever-increasing threat.
We’re really excited to bring this online game to you, the group, and we’ve designed FBC: Firebreak to be as simple as possible to get into. Playing this game together with your friends is recommended because you’ll have a blast laughing in the chaos and bizarre things that happen! This is not a brand-new activity that you need to engage in every day to reap benefits. Nothing about that Fear below. Simply gather your pals over the weekend to enjoy a good time.
As a Firebreaker, you are a fierce battle engineer who digs deep into The Oldest House to resolve paranormal problems, and The Federal Bureau of Control gives you a variety of standard and, well, never thus standard tools to accomplish this. Each of the three bespoke Crisis Kits comes with a distinctive device, such as the Crank-Operated Fluidic Ejector, an impromptu device like the BOOMbox, and an improved accessory.
Improved Enhances are items that the Federal Bureau of Control has collected and used to allow the Firebreak Initiative to use them. So the Federal Bureau of Control decided to create weapons from paranormal things that their daring first responders could not understand, and they are in serious trouble. Nothing can go bad, after all.
Each Altered Augment has unique capabilities, which represent the pinnacle of the Crisis Kit’s vocabulary. Let me introduce you to our modified accessories!
The Garden Gnome ( AI9 ) is a typical-looking but unusually ordinary garden gnome. The Electro-Kinetic Charge Impactor can be attached to the Garden Gnome to allow you to fire it at your rivals. When it lands, it will create a lightning storm that will engulf all nearby creatures, causing damage to and beautiful them all, as well as consuming all of the surrounding batteries. Get cautious, though! The Garden Gnome wanders about and cannot distinguish between a companion and a rival. Unless you want to pull a little trick on your crew members. In that situation, there is no need to remain cautious.
When you swing your Wrench around, the Piggy Bank ( AI16 ) causes a massive arc in front of you, causing a paranormal coin tornado to blow up all the creatures inside. However, the Piggy Bank recovers after the tornado makes its way back to you. Just be careful not to reach your associates with the storm because some cultures view it as rude to be hit by a lot of coins in the face.
The Crank-Operated Fluidic Ejector ( COFE ) has the ability to shoot boiling water at enemies because of the teapot’s ( AI44 ) attachment to the top. The application treats the burning issue and can overheat when the Teapot is attached to the COFE. Notice that this also means that the COFE is now unable to relieve teammates of any other arousal besides the warm problem. Finally, there is no actual drink that the Mug does not include. Sorry, drink fans.
With our 50-person growth team, we’ve been working hard on FBC: Firebreak, and we’re excited to show you more and get it in your arms! For PlayStation 5, FBC: Firebreak is scheduled to be available for day one for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium people in the summer of 2025. We have many more to share with you in the meantime.
