A law that almost expelled emulators from the App Store was changed with the first April adjustments to the App Store Review Guidelines. After the repeal of the rule, it was anticipated that Apple would receive a ferocious supply of emulators for use in the modern storefront.
Consoles for the phone have been around for some time, but they are only side-loadable apps that are available outside of the App Store. With Apple’s shifts, some of the tasks are making the transition, and possibly gaining more momentum from a larger customer base in the process.
