Well, not that insane now, right? ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has celebrated their 10th anniversary by launching a behemoth of a laptop in the ROG GX700.
What’s special about this gaming laptop is that it comes with a water kit, opening it up to cooler performances with far-reaching numbers. The gaming laptop’s cooling module can be removed and left at home if the concern for inconvenience arises. The whole shebang comes in an incredibly easy to carry stroller bag.
Care for some easy to carry luggage?
While crazy on paper, this can be considered as a technological achievement as the ROG GX700 is the first ever liquid-cooled laptop. Aside from the ginormous price (PhP 249,995), the ROG GX700 will also be limited in quantity, with 20 being the legendary number.
For those buying, ASUS ROG doesn’t mince their words (or their bonuses). The package comes with an ROG Sica Gaming Mouse, ROG Command Case (a premium black luggage case that not only ensures that the ROG GX700 is kept safe, but also for the user to bring the ROG GX700 wherever you want in absolute comfort and style); a Personalized Legendary 20 Luggage Tag (a stylish bag tag that proudly displays the name of the respective owner) and finally, a Legendary 20 Jacket (a decked-out Legendary 20 signature-style jacket tailor-fit to the Legendary 20 member). Also, VIP-access to all ROG-related events in the whole Philippines, including a private DotA tournament with an ROG endorser.

So, what’s with the gaming laptop anyway? Is it different from the “more affordable” lot?
The ROG GX700 is powered by an Intel Core i7-6820HK, unlocked and ready for overclocking. Complimenting it is a whopping 32GB 2133MHz DDR4 RAM that can be overclocked to 2800MHz. The main hero of the package is the DESKTOP NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 that comes packed with 8GB of GDDR5 VRAM. The graphics card can then be pushed further with the help of the included liquid loop. For storage, the GX700VO is equipped with 2x 256GB NVMe PCIe SSD set-up in RAID0, and allows for up to 3.5GB/s read/write speeds.

The limited edition ASUS GX700 is only available in the Philippines for the 1st 20 purchasers. Official SRP is Php249,995 and available at Villman, PC Corner, PC Express and Complink by March 2016.
