ROG wants you to game in 4K this 2017 with their new monitor – Hungry Geeks
Admit it that 4K is the new standard worldwide, though the Philippines is still to adapt for 4K technology in general. So, for the enthusiasts out there ASUS has just released the new ROG Swift PG27UQ monitor with 4K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate and of course G-Sync HDR technology.
With gameplay in mind, the 27-inch monitor Swift PG27UQ has standard NVIDIA G-Sync technology with HDR (High Dynamic Range) for improved brightness, details and colors. Colors are made well thanks to the quantum dot display technology, enabling it to have a wide DCI-P3 (Color range for Digital movies, 86.9% color).
The 3840 x 2160 resolution brings out details with a 144Hz refresh rate for flawless gaming, it’s pretty much the right specifications needed for a 4K screen today. With this resolution, even gaming mice with ridiculous DPIs will have more meaning.
It’s not bad at the back either as it inherits the ASUS ROG DNA of mayan patterns / iron man feel. For sure you would want to flaunt this out in a center room if you have one, rather than placing it facing a wall.
