Samsung is refreshing the M31 with the Samsung Galaxy M31s. The M31s largely shares the same specifications as its predecessor, however, it does have a few improvements such as a higher RAM capacity, better cameras, and faster charging.
The Samsung Galaxy M31s has a 6.5-inch SuperAMOLED 2400 x 1080 display with Gorilla Glass 3 and a punch-hole at the middle for its 32MP f/2.0 selfie camera. Inside is the same Exynos 9611 chip but customers now have the option for opting for an 8GB variant instead of only 6GB.
Its cameras have received some love as well. It now comes with four lenses: a 64MP f/1.8 main powered by an IMX682 sensor, a higher megapixel 12MP f/2.2 ultrawide, a 5MP f/2.4 macro, and a 5MP f/2.4 depth sensor.
The smartphone runs on Android 10 with the brand’s OneUI 2.0. Although the battery capacity stays at 6,000mAh, which is more than enough, a 25W Fast Charging connection has now been implemented for its USB Type-C port in order to charge the large battery quicker.
