With the turnout of events for Samsung where allegedly 4 cases of “Safe” Galaxy Note7 units exploded in the US, the company once again urges the public to power down their devices and wait for further announcement.
“Because consumers’ safety remains our top priority, Samsung will ask all carrier and retail partners globally to stop sales and exchanges of the Galaxy Note7 while the investigation is taking place.
Consumers with either an original Galaxy Note7 or replacement Galaxy Note7 device should power down and stop using the device and take advantage of the remedies available.”
For the Philippines, sales have not resumed since the recall so you can’t purchase a Galaxy Note7 anymore. Local teclos will surely release a statement or perhaps just contact their customers privately.
The Galaxy Note7 is definitely the King of all phablets if it weren’t for this mishap in the manufacturing. Hopefully, this is a lesson for Samsung and all other phone manufacturers that to take manufacturing seriously and avoid racing to the top in exchange for releasing a potentially dangerous phone.
The floor is now open for the new King of all android / phablet phones, any takers? Who do you think it is?
