Skype is now releasing their quick video messaging/communication app named Skype Qik here in the Philippines. This app allows you to exchange instant and quick video messages for free. Think of it as a Vine or Instagram but the duration extends up to 40 seconds long. You can read more about it here.
In partnership with Smart, all subscribers will be free of data charges from the app for three months. It’s a good thing if you are sending a 40 second long video while using your mobile data. Note that this promo is only applicable to Android and iOS only.
Skype Qik is available on iPhone, Android and Windows phones. So what are you waiting for? Shoot those long videos and send it to your friends! Qik or it didn’t happen!
